2027 Registration will begin in March. The schedule and ticketing structure will resemble 2026. We left 2026 info below for reference. The 2027 details will replace it once they have been confirmed.
To provide a better experience for everyone, attendance in some sessions is limited.
Workshops are “Leveled” meaning you must qualify to participate. Please read the Leveled Workshops explainer below.
Westie Weekend uses the SWING DANCER self service, online ticketing portal for all event pass and contest entries and workshop reservations. There are no in-person sales. You manage all your own purchases (ahead of time or after you arrive) from your smartphone or computer. All payments are made securely with a bank card. You may access the online portal any time to make exchanges, add new workshop reservations or make contest entry changes. You can purchase items for others after they have created an account. It’s fast, easy and secure!
To help everyone get the most out of these workshops, we will use the following guide to sort students into groups with similar skill level. The WSDC point system recognizes competition achievement. If you have earned points your name will be in the WSDC registry.
Level 1 – Beginners and dancers working on basic skills and those with limited social dance experience. This includes students currently participating in Beginner and Beginner 2 weekly classes.
Level 2 – You must be very familiar with all the common variations, connection skills, and basic rhythms, and demonstrate good technique. Significant social dance experience is required. Not for beginners.
Level 3 – WSDC Intermediate+ OR 16 pts combined Novice+Sophisticated+Masters OR successful audition
Level 4 – WSDC Advanced+ OR 30 pts combined Intermediate+Sophisticated+Masters OR successful audition
Anyone who has not earned the required competition points may audition for a chance to move into a higher level. You’ll find these audition items under the contests menu when you register.
Friday at 7:30pm: Audition to move up from Level 2 > 3 or 3 > 4. Friday Evening Pass is required.
Saturday at 1pm: Audition to move from Level 2 > 3. If the audition is successful, the Level 2 package may be exchanged for a Level 3 package or upgraded to a Level 3+2 package, or the Level 3 workshop may be purchased.
Saturday 5pm: Audition to move from Level 3 > 4.
If the audition is successful, the Sunday Level 4 workshop may be purchased.
Only purchase the Saturday-Sunday Registration Package you qualify for – not one you plan to audition for! If you successfully audition up we can exchange or add to your package.

Sat-Sun Registration Packages do not include Friday programming!
These packages are only available through April 30th! After that, we will offer a la carte purchasing of spots in the leveled workshops and Saturday night party, if space permits:
Saturday Evening Pass (7:30pm – 3am): $40
Saturday Late Night (11pm – 3am): $20
a la carte workshops:
1.5 hr (L2, L4): $40
3 hr (L3): $80
Friday Night programming is not included in the Sat-Sun Registration Packages

Mothers Day Special! Bring your mom for free! Just add the Sunday Afternoon ‘MOM’ Pass. Please note that all attendees (including moms) need to have a swingdancer account to get a pass.
